Jared Goff made headlines for his notable play call at the line during the Los Angeles Rams win against the Seattle Seahawks. It appears actress Halle Berry caught wind of the call made in her namesake.
She even took to social media to ask what it was. Goff responded by shooting his shoton Twitter:
It’s my favorite play ever https://t.co/YLWi7c3DNE

It is clear that Goff is getting rather comfortable with his status in Hollywood. Although the prospect of getting a response from an A-list celebrity of Berry’s status is a bit of a stretch, it just goes to show how much his confidence has grown in recent years. There is certainly good reason for it given how he has performed.
Goff completed an efficient 28-of-39 passes for 318 yards and two touchdowns in the 36-31 victory over Seattle. Sunday marked the sixth time this season in which he has topped 300 or more yards in a game. That said, it is clear that the Rams audible calls have worked wonders for them this season.
Aside from the offensive line, Goff is perhaps the most underrated aspect of this high-powered Rams offense. This may seem strange considering how much quarterbacks are praised in today’s NFL. However, much of the credit has gone to the excellence of head coach Sean McVay and Todd Gurley. There is no denying that both have the biggest impact on how the offense is run. That said, it is hard to imagine this group playing at such a high level without Goff doing the same.
Fortunately, it has become apparent that the lack of praise has not affected his level of confidence. As long as the Rams keep winning games, there is no celebrity in Los Angeles that Goff feels is out of his league.
